NSPWA – Supporting You
It’s tough out there. Entrepreneurs and small businesses without deep pockets are particularly vulnerable. Never was it more important to have a network of resources and support. North Shore Professional Women’s Association (NSPWA) is a group of business and professional women who care about each other’s success, and take the time to know each other by name. There’s never been a better time to join.
NSPWA – Local, Responsive, Effective.
A few of the benefits of a local group like NSPWA:
- An approachable networking group
- A responsive governing board.
- Camaraderie
- Ability to do business with people you know
- Lower membership cost than many civic or fraternal groups
Here’s how some members put it:
“I had a new client after my very first meeting. I provide exactly the type of service she was looking for, and being a small business owner myself, I ‘got’ her.”
“I work in a large corporation, and while I enjoy my co-workers, it’s nice to be able to discuss things with peers who give a fresh perspective.”
“I enjoy the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of the meetings.”
Just the facts:
Meetings held monthly (except August and December) on second Wednesday of the month at Mission Hills Country Club in Northbrook. They begin at 6:00 PM, and include networking, buffet dinner, and a scheduled speaker. Brief introductions of self and business take place at each meeting so guests and new members “catch up”quickly. |
